Displaced Kashmiri Pandits seek structured engagement, genocide recognition, and property recovery

Displaced Kashmiri Pandits have articulated demands for structured engagement with authorities, recognition of historical injustices, and recovery of their properties during a heritage tour and international conference held in Srinagar over the past week.
The events highlighted the community's deep desire to return to their homeland and rebuild connections to Kashmir. Participants emphasized the need for formal mechanisms to address long-standing grievances and facilitate meaningful dialogue on the restoration of properties and cultural heritage lost during their displacement.
