Kavitha launches nationwide movement for 50% OBC quota in legislatures

Telangana Rakshana Sema (TRS) president and former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha announced on Thursday the launch of a nationwide movement to secure 50% reservations for other backward classes (OBCs) in legislative bodies.

The campaign aims to push for enhanced quota representation for OBCs across Parliament and state assemblies, a longstanding demand from several political parties and social groups.
