Kerala seeks redemption against Odisha in Ranji Trophy as rain looms

Kerala will look to bounce back from a disappointing start to the Ranji Trophy 2026-27 season when it faces Odisha in its next fixture, with rain expected to play a role in the match.

In their opening encounter against Jharkhand, Kerala managed to hold on for a draw while following on, but the result masked underlying concerns with both their batting and bowling performances. The team's inability to put runs on the board and take wickets consistently has raised questions ahead of the Odisha clash.

The Kerala side will be seeking a more convincing performance to build momentum in the tournament, though weather conditions may impact the quality of play and outcome of the match.
