Kerala High Court directs government to improve road safety with integrated monitoring

The Kerala High Court has issued time-bound directions to the state government aimed at enhancing road safety across the state. The court ordered the creation of an Integrated Road Safety Monitoring Platform to track safety issues in real time.
Among the key directives, the court instructed authorities to repair potholes, monitor bus operations, and identify and monitor black spots—areas with high accident rates. These measures are intended to systematically reduce road accidents and improve public safety on Kerala's roads.
