Three Kerala nuns launch clothing venture after breaking silence on bishop abuse case

Three nuns at St. Francis Mission Home in Kuravilangad, Kottayam, have launched a clothing venture called 'Stand By Me' as they seek to rebuild their lives. The move follows years of isolation and hardship after they took a public stand in the case against Bishop Franco Mulakkal.

The nuns have faced considerable difficulties within the church community following their decision to speak out. Through their new clothing business, they aim to achieve financial independence and carve out a path toward personal stability and dignity.
