Kerala to revise anganwadi curriculum from January

Kerala will implement a revised anganwadi curriculum starting January. The state government has decided to update the educational framework for anganwadi centres, which provide early childhood care and development services.
The curriculum revision aims to align anganwadi programmes with contemporary educational standards and developmental needs of young children. Anganwadi centres, operating under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme, serve as critical touchpoints for nutrition, health, and early learning in communities across the state.
The updated curriculum is expected to strengthen the quality of services delivered to children in the age group typically served by these centres, enhancing both educational content and developmental activities.
