42% of Kerala third-year students keen to extend studies under four-year programme: survey

A survey conducted by the Kerala State Higher Education Council found that 42% of third-year undergraduate students expressed interest in pursuing a fourth year under Kerala's Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP). The survey covered 66,014 students currently in their third year across all universities that have implemented the FYUGP. The findings indicate the level of student acceptance for the extended programme framework introduced in the state's higher education system.
