If Nizam was so good, why did Komuram Bheem rebel, asks Kishan Reddy

Union minister G. Kishan Reddy on Thursday questioned the Congress and BRS parties for allegedly glorifying the Nizam's rule, citing historical rebellions against his authority. Speaking at Telangana Liberation Day celebrations organised by the Centre, Reddy asked why freedom fighters like Komuram Bheem and Chakali Ailamma had rebelled if the Nizam's governance was beneficial.

Reddy accused the two parties of appeasing a particular section and "bowing before" the AIMIM while downplaying the sacrifices of those who fought against Nizam rule during the independence struggle.
