Tiruvannamalai residents protest over drinking water shortage

Residents of Tiruvannamalai have launched a protest against the non-supply of drinking water in their area. According to panchayat officials, the existing motor pump sets used to draw water from borewells in the riverbed have become defunct, leaving the community without adequate water access.
