Ex-PCB chief selector blames Imran Khan for Pakistan cricket's decline

Former Pakistan Cricket Board chief selector Haroon Rasheed has blamed Imran Khan for the decline in Pakistani cricket, citing Khan's rejection of a hybrid domestic structure for the game.
Rasheed stated that Khan dismissed the proposed model, which significantly weakened first-class teams in Pakistan. He contrasted this with India's layered domestic system, which he credited with developing deeper talent reserves.
Rasheed advocated for Pakistan to decentralise its cricket governance to improve the sport's prospects and institutional strength.
