Lalbaugcha Raja's prasad waste to power KEM, Sion hospitals in first-of-its-kind initiative

In a pioneering move, Lalbaugcha Raja temple in Mumbai will utilise prasad waste to generate biogas for powering KEM and Sion hospitals. The initiative marks the first such effort to convert leftover food offerings from the temple into renewable energy.
The biogas generated from the prasad waste will be channelled to support the operations of the two major public hospitals, contributing to sustainable energy management while addressing temple waste disposal challenges.
