Maharashtra Reschedules MHT-CET 2027 Attempts After Class 12 Board Exams

Maharashtra has rescheduled both attempts of the MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test) 2027 to be conducted after the completion of Class 12 board examinations.
The state had announced the two-attempt format in November of the previous year as part of efforts to harmonise the entrance exam with the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) structure. The move aims to reduce academic pressure on students by separating the board exam timeline from the competitive entrance test schedule.
This alignment is expected to give students adequate time to focus on their board examinations before attempting the entrance test, thereby improving overall academic performance and reducing stress during the final year of secondary education.
