Supreme Court quashes Bombay High Court order on Maharashtra FDA compensation

The Supreme Court has quashed an order passed by the Bombay High Court that directed Maharashtra's Food and Drug Administration to pay ₹5 lakh in compensation.
The case originated in June when FDA food safety officers in Pune conducted an inspection of an establishment following a complaint of food poisoning. The High Court had earlier issued directions on the matter, which the SC has now set aside.
