Mamata alleges CEC favoured BJP in Bengal elections

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of favouring the BJP during Bengal's electoral process. Banerjee claimed that the special incentive scheme (SIR) was weaponised to benefit the ruling party.
She also alleged that the CEC and Election Commission's director general (IT) Seema Khanna had "hijacked" the election and counting procedures. The opposition leader has been critical of the commission's conduct throughout the electoral cycle.
