CM Adhikari Accuses Mamata of Links with 'Ideological Naxals' Ahead of INDIA Bloc Meet

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Tuesday criticised former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee ahead of the INDIA bloc's national capital meeting scheduled for September 30. Adhikari alleged that Banerjee has developed close links with what he termed 'Dimaagi Naxals' and urged Delhi Police and intelligence agencies to increase surveillance.
Adhikari claimed Banerjee is travelling to Delhi to "hatch a new conspiracy" with CPI(M) leaders. He alleged she is "moving ahead with the Jamaat in one hand and Dimaagi Naxals in the other." Banerjee, meanwhile, stated her focus at the opposition meeting is on the Election Commission and demanded the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, whom she referred to as 'Vanish'.
