Mamata Banerjee, Arvind Kejriwal detained during Delhi anti-CEC protest

Four former chief ministers, including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Delhi's ex-CM Arvind Kejriwal, were detained across multiple locations in Delhi on Monday during an anti-CEC protest crackdown.
The detentions occurred amid heavy security deployments as demonstrators gathered for a protest called by the CJP against SIR. The action resulted in the preventive custody of the senior political figures at various sites across the capital.
The protest and subsequent police action underscores rising political tensions around the issue, with prominent opposition figures expressing their dissent through street mobilisation in the national capital.
