Mamata visited hills as tourist, ignored development: Suvendu

BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of visiting the hill regions merely as a tourist without addressing development concerns. He claimed the previous government lodged false cases against Gorkha people.
Adhikari promised that a BJP government would withdraw all such cases and launch a comprehensive revival programme. The party plans to revive 25 tea gardens across north Bengal with a ₹330-crore package under the 'PM Cha Samriddhi Yojana', targeting improved livelihoods in the region.
