Manipur CM thanks Kukis, Nagas for allowing free movement on NH2

Public road transport services between Imphal and Guwahati resumed on August 21, marking a significant step toward normalcy in Manipur. The resumption came after more than three years of ethnic tensions that had led to the blockade of highways in the state.
Chief Minister N. Biren Singh expressed gratitude to the Kuki and Naga communities for allowing free movement on National Highway 2, highlighting their cooperation in facilitating the restoration of connectivity.
