Mumbai Cyber Police Trace Marathi Actor Vikas Samudre After Facebook Post Triggers Concern

Mumbai Cyber Police launched a search for Marathi film actor Vikas Samudre on Friday night after a Facebook post containing a typographical error appeared to suggest he intended to harm himself. The post went viral and prompted calls from the Mumbai Police Commissioner and other senior officials.

Cyber lab personnel and five cyber officers began tracing Samudre at 11:03 pm and located him by 12:15 am. The actor later clarified that he was safe and that the post was connected to a drama project he was working on.
