Matunga Police File FIR Against Woman For Allegedly Forging Court Order To Mislead High Court
Mumbai police have registered an FIR against Delnaz Anklesaria and others for allegedly conspiring to fabricate or tamper with a court order and submitting it before the Bombay High Court to mislead the bench and obtain favourable relief.
According to the complaint filed by Eric Jimmy Anklesaria, the couple has been embroiled in marital disputes since November 2025. Eric, employed with a private company and residing in Matunga, approached Family Court following an alleged serious incident involving their five-year-old son in November 2024. The Family Court granted Eric interim custody of the child in an order dated January 22, 2026.
The complaint states that Delnaz had engaged in abusive and violent behaviour towards Eric's family members and domestic staff. Non-cognisable and cognisable offences have been registered against her at Matunga police station. Eric initiated proceedings under the Domestic Violence Act and filed an application under the Mental Healthcare Act, 2017, seeking her medical assessment. Following a December 6, 2025 order directing her judicial assessment, Delnaz challenged the ruling before the Bombay High Court through a writ petition, allegedly using forged documents.
