Mayawati rules out political roles for nephews Akash and Ishan in BSP

BSP supremo Mayawati has made clear that her nephews Akash and Ishan will not be given political roles within the party. She stated this was her final decision on the matter.

Mayawati said if her brother Anand Kumar continues with her and requires assistance, he can approach his daughter Kumari Deepika Anand for support. This appears to be her preferred succession arrangement within the family structure.
