MEA denies political clearance for CM Revanth Reddy's US visit, cites unsuitable programme

The Ministry of External Affairs has rejected political clearance for Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's planned US visit, citing that the proposed activities were not appropriate. The decision has forced cancellation of the US portion of his trip.

Reddy has, however, secured clearance for his visit to the UK. His office confirmed the cancellation of the American leg, with the Chief Minister now expected to return to Hyderabad earlier than originally scheduled.
