Arunachal Pradesh is integral part of India, MEA rejects China's naming objections
The Ministry of External Affairs has firmly asserted that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India and nothing can alter this status. The statement comes in response to China's continued efforts to impose Chinese names on various locations within the state.
New Delhi has identified twenty-seven historically and strategically important locations officially mapped by the Survey of India. The government categorically rejects China's renaming initiatives as invalid, maintaining that such actions hold no legal or territorial significance.
The move reflects India's consistent position against China's territorial claims and attempts to unilaterally change geographical nomenclature in disputed border regions.
