Meenakshi Sundareswarar temple kumbabishekam begins

The kumbabishekam ceremony at the Meenakshi Sundareswarar temple in Madurai commenced as scheduled. Priests performed the sacred consecration ritual during the designated time window of 7:40 a.m. to 8:10 a.m.

The kumbabishekam, a significant Hindu ritual, marks the consecration and rejuvenation of a temple. The ceremony involves placing sanctified pots atop the temple's sanctum sanctorum, believed to infuse the deity's abode with renewed spiritual energy.
