Warmth of hospitality during Amarnath yatra will defeat hate politics: Mehbooba Mufti

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has called for a people-led initiative to extend hospitality to Amarnath yatris, asserting that the warmth of local communities will counter divisive politics.

Urging peaceful engagement, Mufti emphasized that every pilgrim should feel welcomed, respected, and protected during their journey. She highlighted the role of ordinary citizens in fostering an inclusive atmosphere for visitors undertaking the annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.
