Government plans incentive scheme for critical mineral recycling

The government is prioritizing demands from the material recycling sector and aims to accelerate reforms. A new incentive scheme for recycling critical minerals is being prepared as part of these efforts.

The minister emphasized the importance of adopting innovative technologies and promoting environmental sustainability in recycling practices. The recycling industry has also sought elimination of Pre-shipment Inspection Certificates for metal scrap imports and removal of import duties on aluminium scrap.
