M.M. Joshi condemns music concert at Badrinath, calls for ban on such events

BJP leader M.M. Joshi has condemned a music concert held at Badrinath, one of India's four major pilgrimage sites. Joshi stated that the Himalayas are a divine region associated with Lord Shiva and the source of the Ganga river, and that converting such sacred land into a performance venue disrespects the faith of millions of Indians.
Joshi has urged both the Central government and the Uttarakhand state administration to impose a ban on such events at pilgrimage destinations. His criticism reflects concerns about maintaining the sanctity of religious sites.
