PM Modi to inaugurate SEMICON India 2026 semiconductor conference in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the fifth edition of SEMICON India 2026 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi on Thursday. The three-day event, running from September 17 to 19, brings together global semiconductor companies, policymakers, investors, researchers, start-ups and academia to showcase India's expanding capabilities in semiconductors and electronics.
The conference, themed 'Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem,' features more than 600 exhibitors, including around 300 international companies, spread across 15,000 square metres. Over 150 speakers are expected to participate in discussions on key developments and challenges in the semiconductor sector.
