PM Modi meets Chinese President Xi Jinping at Delhi BRICS Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Chinese President Xi Jinping during the Delhi BRICS Summit for bilateral discussions. The two leaders reviewed the full range of India-China relations and discussed mutual interests.

Modi conveyed best wishes to China for its BRICS Presidency commencing next year. In a post on X, the PM stated: "Met President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the Delhi BRICS Summit. We reviewed the full range of India-China relations. Also conveyed best wishes for China's BRICS Presidency that commences next year."

Since 2025, dialogue between the two countries has shown improvement, with both nations agreeing to work towards each other's interests.
