Modi proposes Global Skilled Mobility Partnership at G7 Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the G7 Summit highlighted the demographic advantage of India and Global South nations, which have young workforces compared to ageing societies in developed countries. He proposed a "Global Skills Partnership" to address this disparity and facilitate talent mobility across borders.
Modi also called for an Economic Corridor dedicated to supporting Global South countries, emphasizing the need for collaborative frameworks that leverage the youth demographic dividend of developing nations while providing opportunities for cross-border employment and skill development.
