Mohammad Rizwan Challenges NCCIA Summons in Lahore High Court

Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has filed a writ petition in Lahore High Court challenging a summons issued by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Rizwan was summoned for questioning following Pakistan's 3-0 Test series defeat in England. He and fellow batter Imam-ul-Haq appeared before the agency last week and were given questionnaires to complete.
Rizwan's petition questions the NCCIA's jurisdiction and cites the absence of specific allegations against him. The agency's questionnaire sought information about players' travel, financial history, and personal details. It remains unclear if the inquiry is linked to the Pakistan Cricket Board's separate internal disciplinary investigation announced last week.
