Ministry of Road Transport pushes for intelligent, clean construction standards

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) is promoting intelligent and clean construction practices for highway projects. The move follows the ministry's November 2020 revision of the HAM (Hybrid Annuity Model) Concession Agreement, which governs public-private partnerships in road infrastructure.
The initiative aims to improve construction quality and environmental standards across highway development programmes. MoRTH's push reflects efforts to modernise infrastructure delivery mechanisms and ensure sustainable development practices in the road sector.
