Mumbai Traffic Police Issue Advisories for Anant Chaturdashi Idol Immersions
Mumbai Traffic Police have issued traffic advisories ahead of Anant Chaturdashi celebrations, when large numbers of devotees participate in idol immersion processions. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has deployed approximately 25,000 staff members to facilitate smooth traffic flow and ensure public safety during the festivities.
The deployment covers key routes and immersion points across Mumbai to manage congestion and coordinate procession movements. Authorities have advised citizens to use alternate routes and plan their travel accordingly during peak immersion hours.
