Mumbai Local Trains Face Mega Blocks Sunday; Central, Harbour Lines Affected

Mumbai commuters will face significant disruptions on Sunday as Central Railway operates mega blocks across two key sections. On the main line, a block between Matunga and Mulund on both up and down slow lines will run from 11.05 am to 3.55 pm. During this period, slow-line services will be diverted to fast lines, resulting in cancellations and delays of 20 to 25 minutes.

The Harbour Line will also see a block between CSMT and Chunabhatti/Bandra from 11.40 am to 4.40 pm on both directions. Services between CSMT and Vashi, Belapur, Panvel, Bandra and Goregaon will remain cancelled. Special local services will operate between Panvel and Kurla to assist passengers. Train services on the Trans-Harbour Line and Belapur–Uran route will continue.

Western Railway will undertake a night block on up and down fast lines between Mahim and Mumbai Central from 12.50 am to 4.25 am on Sunday. Fast-line services will be diverted to slow lines, with some late-night services cancelled. No daytime block is scheduled on Western Railway on Sunday.
