Mediator and Arbitrator Naveen G. Ahuja on Resolving International Commercial Disputes

Naveen G. Ahuja, a mediator, arbitrator, and ADR trainer with nearly 20 years of experience, has transitioned from international sales and manufacturing into dispute resolution. He holds a law degree, Master's in Alternative Dispute Resolution, and a Doctorate focused on guerrilla tactics in international commercial arbitration.
Ahuja serves as Visiting Professor of Law at Guangxi University and special representative of the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution to Singapore. He also directs mooting and ADR competitions at Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University in Visakhapatnam and co-presides over the Moot Alumni Association, promoting international arbitration and trade law education.
His background in the international sale of goods—including manufacturing watchstraps with leather from Italy and steel from Japan—gave him insights into how different parties interpret business situations, a skill he now applies to resolving complex cross-border disputes.
