Navy civilian and employee arrested in Andhra Pradesh for sharing defence secrets with Pakistan

Two individuals have been arrested in Andhra Pradesh on charges of sharing sensitive defence information with Pakistan. The suspects are Annam Sai Varaprasad, a civilian driver for Naval officers, and Pradeep Mukherjee, an Indian Navy employee stationed at Visakhapatnam naval base.

According to reports, the accused shared operational passwords and one-time passwords (OTPs) with Pakistani contacts and maintained communication with them. The arrests were made following an investigation into the unauthorized transmission of classified military material.
