NCERT Class 9 textbook presents 'Ram Rajya' as governance model, praises NEP 2020

An NCERT Class 9 textbook has highlighted Mahatma Gandhi's concept of 'Ram Rajya' as an ideal model of governance. According to the book, Gandhi visualised 'Ram Rajya' as rooted in probity, transparency, compassion, welfare, and people-centric orientation in governance and public policy.

The same textbook also cites the National Education Policy 2020 as an excellent example of policymaking.
