NCERT Textbook Traces National Motto, Supreme Court Emblem to Ancient Texts

An NCERT textbook has traced India's national motto and the Supreme Court's emblem to ancient texts, connecting contemporary symbols to historical roots. The book also includes the Sengol, which was installed in the new Parliament building in 2023, describing it as a symbol of rulership and good governance with traditions tracing back to the Chola period.
