NDA's Parliamentary strength grows as rival coalitions face internal defections

The NDA alliance currently commands 293 seats in the 540-member Lok Sabha. Ongoing defections within the Trinamool Congress and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) could further strengthen the ruling coalition's numbers in Parliament.
A two-thirds majority would require around 360 parliamentary votes. The gains from rival coalition rebellions may help the NDA consolidate its legislative position ahead of key votes.
