NDA moves closer to two-thirds majority in Rajya Sabha; Lok Sabha gains uncertain

The National Democratic Alliance is edging towards a two-thirds majority in the Rajya Sabha, according to current strength calculations. In the Lok Sabha, however, the NDA's position remains constrained despite potential support from around 20 Trinamool Congress MPs who are reportedly forming a separate group and considering backing the coalition.

The potential shift in Trinamool allegiance could provide the NDA with additional numbers in the lower house, though it would still fall short of a clear majority on its own.
