Jaishankar visits Bhutan as India steps up regional outreach after BRICS summit
India is intensifying diplomatic engagement with its neighbours following the recent BRICS summit. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has travelled to Bhutan as part of this outreach effort.
The move reflects New Delhi's focus on strengthening ties with key regional partners, particularly those who were not represented at the BRICS meeting. Nepal's Finance Minister is scheduled to arrive in Delhi on September 17, further signalling India's commitment to deepening neighbourhood relations.
