New counter-terror strategy deployed in Pir Panjal to block militant movement

Security forces have rolled out a new operational strategy in the Pir Panjal mountain range to curtail militant movement between Jammu and Kashmir. The initiative aims to strengthen surveillance and interception capabilities along the region's challenging terrain, a known corridor for cross-border infiltration.
The approach targets the porous stretches where militants have historically attempted to slip through from one region to another. Enhanced coordination between agencies and deployment of additional resources are part of the effort to tighten security in the strategically sensitive area.
