NGMA Mumbai seeks CBI nod to display seized artworks by Tyeb, Bawa, Raza

The National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA) in Mumbai has approached the Central Bureau of Investigation seeking clearance to display a collection of seized artworks. The works include pieces by noted artists Tyeb, Bawa, and Raza.

The gallery's move comes as it seeks to exhibit these valuable pieces, which remain in custody following their seizure. NGMA has formally written to the CBI to obtain the necessary approvals for the proposed exhibition.
