NIA attaches Amritsar property in LeT-linked narco-terror case

The National Investigation Agency has attached a property in Amritsar in connection with a narco-terror investigation linked to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). According to the NIA, proceeds from narcotic substance trafficking were channelled through a complex financial network to finance and support terrorist activities across India.
The agency's action forms part of a broader crackdown on terror-financing mechanisms that exploit drug smuggling routes. The attachment of the property represents efforts to dismantle financial infrastructure used by terror groups to sustain operations.
