NIA court issues non-bailable warrant against LeT founder Hafiz Saeed
An NIA court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Hafiz Saeed, founder of the proscribed terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba. According to the National Investigation Agency, Saeed has been operating from Pakistan and providing weapons, money and directions to terrorists active in Kashmir valley.
The warrant underscores ongoing efforts by Indian security agencies to pursue terrorists designated under anti-terrorism laws, despite their location outside Indian territory.
