NTA overhaul: 600 experts removed, four-tier paper checks and CISF security planned

The Centre has initiated a comprehensive overhaul of the National Testing Agency (NTA) following repeated examination controversies. The reforms include replacing 600 experts, introducing a four-stage question-paper scrutiny process, and deploying CISF personnel to strengthen office security.
The overhaul comes in response to the NEET-UG paper leak row and errors in UGC-NET papers. The government aims to restore student confidence in the examination system through these structural changes.
