Omar Abdullah Claims NC MLAs Offered Rs 20-30 Crore to Defect to BJP

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah alleged that the BJP offered National Conference MLAs between Rs 20 crore and Rs 30 crore to switch sides. Abdullah stated that the approached MLA rejected the offer.

Abdullah asserted that the BJP would not be permitted to come to power in Jammu and Kashmir "through the back door". The BJP dismissed the allegations.

The charge comes amid political tensions in the union territory following the recent government formation.
