Opposition slams Tamil Nadu CM over Mettur dam visit costs and London trip expenses

AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami criticized Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay over expenditure related to his recent visits and official arrangements. Palaniswami alleged that security and travel costs for the CM's visit to Mettur dam exceeded Rs 5 crore.

The opposition leader also raised concerns about expenses related to the Chief Minister's London visit and the establishment of a new official office. Palaniswami labeled the CM as "costly," suggesting wasteful spending of public funds.
