Opposition stages second protest against Chief Election Commissioner, arrests reported

Opposition parties staged their second protest in as many days against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar on Tuesday. The demonstrations saw police detentions of protesters as the agitation continued.

Details of the specific grievances behind the opposition's protest remain unclear from available reports. The repeated nature of the demonstrations suggests ongoing tensions between opposition groups and the election commission leadership.
