Muslims shouldn't be treated as vote banks: Owaisi launches UP 2027 campaign

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi launched his campaign for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections with a call to end the practice of treating Muslims and other marginalised communities merely as vote banks for larger political parties.

Owaisi's 'Hissedari' (participation) pitch emphasises that these communities should have genuine political representation and agency rather than being taken for granted during elections.
